Wife vicious after father of 45 years shoots her in sanatorium ICU, military say

AKRON, Ohio –  Ohio military contend a 66-year-old male entered a complete caring section of Akron General Medical Center and shot his 65-year-old mother while station during her bedside.

Akron military told The Associated Press early Sunday that a lady is in vicious condition.

Police contend John Wise, of Massillon, entered a sanatorium shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday and went to see his wife, Barbara, in a complete caring unit, where she had been certified a few days earlier. Authorities contend Wise pulled out a handgun and shot his mother of 45 years.

Hospital orator Jim Gosky says one shot was fired.

Hospital confidence apprehended Wise, and military contend no one else was injured. There was no evident word on a motive.

Police contend Wise was being hold for attempted murder, and is approaching to be arraigned Monday.
